SMS Terms

How appointment and service text messages work, how you opt in, and how to stop them at any time.

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

1. The Program

ServiSuite is a field service management platform built by Harris Barrick Software LLC ("ServiSuite," "we," "us"). Service companies use ServiSuite to send their customers text messages about service they have requested or scheduled. These messages are informational and transactional. They are not marketing.

You may receive:

  • Appointment confirmations, asking you to reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel
  • Appointment reminders
  • Technician updates, such as "on the way" and "arrived" notices, sometimes with a live tracking link
  • Updates about a service request you submitted, including online booking requests
  • Replies from the service company's staff to messages you send them

2. How You Opt In

You opt in by giving your mobile number to a service company that uses ServiSuite and asking it to contact you about your service:

  • Online booking: by checking "It's OK to text me about this request and my appointment" when you submit a booking request
  • By phone or in person: by providing your mobile number to the service company when you request, schedule, or confirm service and agreeing to receive texts about it
  • By text: by texting the service company's number yourself, which starts a conversation you can end at any time

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

3. Message Frequency & Cost

Message frequency varies with your appointment activity, typically a few messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

4. How to Stop or Get Help

  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also work. You will receive one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.
  • Reply START to opt back in.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact support@servisuite.com.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel your appointment. Contact the service company directly to make changes.

5. Example Message

Acme Heating & Air: Your appointment is scheduled between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Tue, Oct 20 at 123 Main St. Reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel. Reply STOP to opt out.

6. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging providers that deliver the messages. See our Privacy Policy for more.

7. Other Terms

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. These SMS Terms are part of our Terms of Service. We may update them from time to time and will update the effective date above when we do.
